The Chico mall has announced that Maurices, a clothing store offering the latest trends for women ages 17-34, will begin construction next Monday. The grand opening of the store is tentatively scheduled for early summer. Maurices will be joined by Justice and Chipotle Mexican Grill announced earlier this month. “last year’s renovation has brought many new players to the center,” handm said Lynette Myers, handm marketing manager for the mall, “we are excited to have these new retailers come and new hope to be making more announcements in the coming months.” The Chico Mall underwent a multi-million dollar handm floor-to-ceiling renovation which attracted new retailers to the center. In addition to Maurices, Justice will open next week and Dick’s Sporting Goods and Chipotle Mexican Grill will also be opening this summer. The new additions are expected to bring renewed excitement to the shopping center handm along with job growth in the community.
