.... Another day of lovely sunshine and birdsong. It is crawling in the garden, small tubers are at breaking point and we, my daughter and I chose once again to pack the bikes with fishing tackle and hopeful bener we facing the duck lake.
Yes, this time there was a gain. First we walked with small and subtle steps around the lake (unsuccessfully), and then continued to what we describe as our "secret place". Expired by Emmer Pelvic exactly the same place where last years we've spotted several salamanders. Here we found a large cluster of new tadpole eggs.
In our lunch pail "borrowed" we have a handful of eggs + one small seed. Natascha thought everyday rewards it would be a shame if the tadpoles to grow up without an adult. God, how heartbreaking! We've googled answers about frogs growing up and now we eagerly await that small transparent balls going to hatch. - It should just add that as soon as the little ones get legs and loses its tail, they again set out exactly where we took them.
