On day 42 took Ole up to the north of Chicago, to visit two great guitar stores. When he was expecting to spend more than 5 hours looking at and trying different guitars, I decided to move out of Chicago on their own. I started tanger outlets with Chicago's Magnificent Mile, which is the northernmost section tanger outlets of Michigan Avenue, which because of its many great shops, hotels and skyscrapers with upscale apartments,'ve got this little funny name. Here I got some shopping, and among other things, bought a "mount" for my GoPro, so it can be put on the bike. This "mount" I bought a Best Buy, which lay at the bottom of one of Chicago's most famous buildings, the John Hancock Tower. The entrance to the building lay down in a little hollow, where there was a lot of cafes and restaurants. Here I was in a small Italian cafe, where I got a really good Italian sandwhich! Nøj it tasted good.
Games will be played beach volleyball on the beach. I followed the lakeshore south, where I went on a combined bike and walking path. Here I was overtaken by one rider after another, and come face to miss my racing bike. It will be nice to come home and have cycled over again. tanger outlets
After walking along the lake shore for a while, I came down to the big "dock" Navy Pier, as mentioned earlier, is the starting tanger outlets point for most boat trips up the Chicago River or on Lake Michigan. There are also a lot of museums, theaters and concert halls. A true entertainment area.
I went all the way down past Grant Park and the great Blues Festival, and arrived after approx. one hour to the large fountain Buckingham Fountain. It is apparently one of the largest tanger outlets fountain in the world. I've seen those bigger then, both in Dubai and Las Vegas.
The Cloud Gate, I hiked back to the elevated tanger outlets railway tanger outlets "The El", seen here across the road to the left, along with the Trump Tower in the background. From there I took the "train" to Roosevelt station where I had agreed with Ole that we would meet at. 18.15.
At Roosevelt station tanger outlets we had dinner at Jersey Mike, where we had a really good sandwhich, and Ole was telling me about all the cool guitars he had seen and tried, without even buying one. He was reportedly about to buy. Then we went home, and the rest of the evening was spent relaxing, edit pictures and write blog.
