This review has been incredibly difficult to write, and I wrote it on at least once. The reason for this I believe is in the book it is; because it is a book that retells a classic of a book that I have come to love. We know virtually all the story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy, in spite of many things end happily together in Pride & Prejudice, and if we have not read the book then we have probably seen some design on the big screen and know history therethrough. Therefore, it is difficult to have to interpret a story that we all know so well, and while doing so in a new way that people will still love. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries started as a video post on YouTube and later became the book. Their popularity I guess especially struck through with literature lovers like myself, but even people who do not know history will be able to see videos on youtube and fall in love with the story as it is told there. It is precisely the point of many of Austen's stories, that they are so timeless that even today, more than 100 years later, we sit still and is offended smart and final by Darcy's behavior in the beginning, but as the story unfolds, we begin like Elizabeth seeing Darcy from a completely different angle.
The characters in Lizzie Bennet Diaries are very similar to those we know from Austen original story that is just screwed up a thank you for them while they have been transferred to the 21st century. smart and final There is still so much pride in among them, but there are also many prejudices which ultimately, of course, is disproved for the best people.
What I really smart and final liked about the book was especially how the characters crisscross allowed to express themselves more. I thought Lizzie in itself - as the protagonist - is unfolded plenty of interconnection with youtube, but some of the others smart and final were completely different smart and final sides to show after reading the book. Most of all it was probably Jane and Lydia got new life, but also just their dad got you a completely different view. And of course, you become something more flustered about this version of Darcy that just gets more and more the one exactly are waiting for.
I would recommend that you watch the videos for yourself and read the book for themselves, for the leans towards each other. Either that, or you need to watch the videos continuously while reading the book to get all the impressions gathered in a large Pride & Prejudice madness. For my part, I had almost seen the last videos and was therefore fresh in the memory when I read the book, which I thought made my experience with the book better, smart and final because suddenly there were some things that were elaborated and made more sense. But I also see how to sit and think that you do not really get too much new beyond what has already been seen in the videos, I think simply it depends on timing and what mood you are in. Personally, I was in lot P & P mood after also just to have finished reading Longbourn, so hit Lizzie Bennet Diaries right spot with me. The only reason I do not give them absolute top character is a little because it is not the 'real' story. There are some small details from the original as I miss (that Wickham release wee light from his number, I had a little difficulty with), smart and final and the fact that the book could easily unfold smart and final more in addition to the videos, when it will now try to give us a little smart and final extra so it could easily do so much more.
